Our 25th anniversary took place at Ottawa  City Hall on June 15, 2006. It was truly a magnificent evening with dignitaries, members of the public and private sectors, corporate sponsors, Lawyers and law students as well as members of various disability and consumer national and local organizations.

We were further honoured to have members from the Supreme Court, Parliament and the Senate in attendance. Steven Fletcher, Member of Parliament from Charleswood-St.James-Assiniboia enhanced the evening with his words to the celebrants. Awards were presented by our President, Michael Sousa and others to the following for their long standing support of Reach as we celebrate this Silver Jubilee Anniversary:

    • Our Executive Director, Paula Agulnik, was honored for her Twenty Years of service to the organization and spoke of sharing that award with other dedicated and passionate staff, Meaza Negassi and Ahmad El-Moussawi. The significance of our tremendous volunteers including the lawyers of the County of Carleton Law Association was mentioned as we would be unable to manage our exceptional programs and services without their support...and yours.

     We thank the co-chairpersons of the evening, Renette Sasouni & Ernie Tannis and their magnificent team. Planning and achieving the success of our Silver Jubilee anniversary was truly a labour of love for all involved.
