Update on Reach's Programs and COVID-19

We understand the concerns about the current situation relating to COVID-19. Our top priority is the health and safety of our clients, volunteers, staff and the community. The situation in Canada is changing rapidly and we have decided to have all staff work from home until Monday, April 6th. Reach relies on dedicated volunteers to assist with its programs and during this time they have been advised to stay home.

This unfortunately means that we must temporarily suspend the operation of our Legal Referral program. We will also be required to postpone all Legal Referral and Legal Information Clinics during this time. Should you have an urgent matter, the following resources are available:

Law Society of Ontario Referral Service - 1-855-947-5255

Distress Centre Ottawa and Region –613-238-3311

We are monitoring the Ottawa Public Health website, Province of Ontario’s website and the government of Canada’s public health website. Should there be any changes to our current planning, we will post the information on our website and social media channels.
